A true story…

Back in 1985, I noticed a neighbor, a doctor, picking up a pile of his dog’s poop from my front lawn. It struck me as strange that he wrapped his hand in multiple layers of plastic bags! I had to know what was going on!

Upon my inquiry, he explained that most plastic bags are porous, -they contain micro-holes that are larger than a bacteria & when you pick-up waste, the bacteria can be forced through the little holes... contaminating your hand! This is called “bacterial pass-through”, being a doctor, he fully understood the dangers of E Coli.

His next words were… “someone should invent a pooper-scooper that would isolate the hand from the mess.” Being an inventor, that was all I needed to hear!

Today, we proudly manufacture over 25 million Dispoz-A-Scoop® annually!

In September, 2011 we introduced our innovative Dispoz-A-Scoop® Sifting Litter Scoops for CAT-OWNERS. This scoop is the safe, sanitary alternative to old-fashioned litter scoops. Each scoop may be used many times - they work with ALL types of litter. They sift easily, store safely between uses (in their own "holder"); You simply throw them away once they become grungy!
